Youth Initiative organizes a discussion every Friday from 3 to 5 pm at its office premises. The discussion mainly focuses on the contemporary issues that directly or indirectly affects or influences the youth of Nepal. This chain, which comprises the every Friday discussions, is collectively known as the "Youth Discussion Series" and it is one of the oldest and continual activities of Youth Initiative.
Youth discussion series aims at fostering the habit of discussion amongst youth. It aims to build a pool of future leaders and thinkers needed to transform the society, providing the platform for intellectual development and leadership to the present generation youth. Disseminating information on the contemporary issues through sharing and debate is the primary concern as well as the intervention of this series.
The discussion is divided into two parts. In the first part the "Pundit" (speaker) delivers his experiences and knowledge related to the topic for about 20 minutes. The second part opens the floor for discussion, question answers, clarification, sharing etc.
The Participation is free and open to all.
