Orientation on Youth Voter Education Orientation conducted in all its strategic location Biratnagar, Dang, Pokhara, Bharatpur, Janakpur, Nepalgunj and Dhangadi.
Orientation program was divided into two sections. The First half was a Guest speaker's session where the invited Guest talks about the importance of voter education. On second half the floor would be open for further inputs by the Youth Champion and discussions.
Strategic/District Location Coordinators orients participants on how to arrange programs in different colleges and go for outreach. The roles and responsibilities of Champions were briefed and they talk about the need and importance of voter registration as the
process is one of the fundamentals of Democracy and allows youth to voice in decision-making process.
Also tips on how to run such programs in colleges is shared, different voter education materials are provided for reference. Plus, logistic management, target beneficiaries, importance of Champions are shared. After the orientation, the program will be run by ten champions who will reach out to approximately 45,000 youth throughout the strategic locations.
