Youth initiative has been conducting research on different issues for the internal purpose of the organisation as well as to satisfy the external needs. The research and publication unit of Youth Initiative is dedicated to carry out the research programs and the publication of the various informational materials as such Newsletters.

Newsletter

Youth Initiative has been regularly publishing a youth newsletter, "Yuva Aawaaz". Yuva Aawaaz focuses on the youth issues and ideas that are youth related. The newsletter team is also publishing a e-newsletter which is for the internal purpose of the organization and aims at the swift flow of information and ideas between the members.

Research

Research on the "Youth Employment in Nepal " was carried out so as to asses the current employment status of Nepalese youth. The paper was presented in the "Youth Employment Summit" that was held in Hyderabad, India.

Research on the political youth organizations of Nepal is being carried out. The research is on the threshold of its completion.

Apart from these, Youth Initiative carries out research on youth issues and topics to build up its information resource.

Youth Initiative carried out a survey among youth to prioritize 5 issues among the 15 priority areas identified in the World Program of Action for Youth (WPAY) and World Youth Report 2003
